Camp at Carlisle

May 30, 2007 marked the 250th anniversary of the establishment of Carlisle Barracks, the second oldest United States Army post. Carlisle Barracks, then known as the "Camp at Carlisle," was established during the French and Indian War--the last of four wars waged between the French and English for control of the North American continent.
