The Board of Directors of the Army Heritage Center Foundation announces that its Fourth Annual Membership Dinner to be held on September 30, 2011, at the Radisson Hotel in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania beginning at 6:00 p.m., is the largest in its history. More than 350 supporters of the Foundation are planning to honor Veterans past and present, those who support Soldiers, and those who support the Army Heritage Center Foundation and the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center in "Telling the Army Story . . . one Soldier at a time." The event will also celebrate the opening of Phase One of the Visitor and Education Center and inaugurate the Campaign to Build Phase Two. Mr. H. Ross Perot has confirmed and will accept the Foundation's Boots on the Ground Award, which recognizes individuals or organizations that make a significant contribution to the lives of many Soldiers. The Foundation will also honor two Mid-state veterans, BG (R) Jim Herbert of Lebanon County and COL (R) Bob Black of Cumberland County, for their distinguished service with the Living Legends Award.
