September 22 - Holocaust - Elie Wiesel's Night

8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday, September 22, 2017 - Please join us to learn ways to use Echoes and Reflections to effectively teach Elie Wiesel's work, Night, with middle and high school students.  Participants will also learn more about the Echoes and Reflections program and how you can use it to meet PA Act 70 standards in your classroom.

Presenters: Echoes and Reflections staff.  Echoes and Reflections is a multimedia program that provides US secondary educators with professional development and print and online resources to teach about the Holocaust in today's classrooms.

Act 48 credit provided for PA certified teachers.

Pennsylvania Act 48 Professional Development Hours

The Army Heritage Center Foundation will provide proof of participation that can be submitted to your school's Act 48 administrator to receive credit through your school.

Continuing Professional Education is important in Pennsylvania. Act 48 of 1999 requires all professional educators holding Pennsylvania public school certificates to participate in Continuing Professional Education. For more information about Act 48 please click here.
