Washingtonburg Society

The Washingtonburg Society is the Foundation’s legacy society, named in tribute of the Carlisle Barracks’ significance to U.S. military history. The Barracks have been an important post since first occupied in 1757. During the American Revolution, the post was named Washingtonburg in honor of General Washington.

The Washingtonburg Society recognizes supporters who include the Foundation in their estate plans or by making deferred gifts. The Foundation acknowledges Society members on a wall of honor within the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center, at its Annual Membership Dinner and at an annual Washingtonburg Society luncheon.
