The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Redstone-Huntsville chapter and the
Army Heritage Center Foundation (AHCF) are pleased to announce the co-sponsored event,
“An Evening in the Ia Drang Valley – 1965”

In November 1965, the U.S. Army engaged, for the first time in a major battle, the North Vietnamese Army in the Ia Drang Valley of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. A panel of battle participants from the famed 7th and 5th Cavalry Regiments and 21st Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division will discuss that battle and their role in it. Panelists include:

The panel discussion will be moderated by Vietnam-Cambodia combat veteran
and military historian COL (Retired) Tom Vossler

 

VIP Reception at 5:30 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm. Program begins at 7:30. All proceeds from this event will benefit the U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum (Huntsville) and the Army Heritage Center Foundation.
