The workshop will focus on building teachers’ content knowledge about the trial of major war criminals at Nuremberg. Sessions will feature documents from the collection of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. These documents include materials from the COL Burton Andrus collection. COL Andrus commanded the 6850th Internal Security Detachment and had primary responsibility for guarding the top Nazis during the trial. Teachers may attend in person or online. There is no cost to attend.
