Description

A very scarce first edition copy of this fascinating history of naval tactics by the notable United States Navy officer, Admiral Samuel Shelburne Robison and his wife, Mary L. Robison (nee Clark). Robison held several major commands during World War I, and from 1928-1931 served as Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy. After retiring, Robison also founded a Naval Preparatory Academy in Pine Beach, New Jersey called the ‘Admiral Farragut Academy’.
