Criteria for Selection: Historical Significance

fought, trained, encamped, or where major events (battles, treaties, councils,
or declarations) occurred.

also taverns, homes, churches, and graveyards that reveal civilian life.
● Documented authenticity – Sites with verifiable evidence—letters, maps, military orders, archaeological remains, or preserved buildings.
● Chronological balance through a mix of early (pre-1776), mid-war, and late-war.
